Linda “Lynja” Bunce, 72 years young, died peacefully on April 15, 2014, at Community Home Health & Hospice in Longview, WA. Linda was born June 10, 1941, in Chula Vista, California, the daughter of Hillman and Alfreda Cummings and the sister of Sandy Polk and Carol Vela.
She leaves behind three daughters DeAnna Crouse, Erin Bunce and Felicia Bunce, as well as two grandchildren Zack and Colin Stewart and their father and her dear friend Bobby Stewart.
Linda spent the majority of her life living in Valley Center with her family, Ronald Bunce and three girls. Linda brought enthusiasm, happiness and love to everyone she encountered. She was full of life and never hesitant to help others. Linda opened her home to anyone, and was always quick with an offer of food, drink and a good story. Moreover, she helped anyone in need, whether it was to talk, listen to their problems or just plain tough love. Her passion was antiques and her newly found treasures from garage sales.
Her wish was to be cremated and have her ashes spread amongst her beautiful rose garden at her home in Cathlamet, WA. There she joins her loving mother, Alfreda and her sister Carol. Her family and friends honored this wish with love and blessings.
Linda will be greatly missed by family and friends. If you wish to donate in her memory, please donate to Community Home Health & Hospice in Longview, WA as their compassion contributed to making her final days filled with love and peace.
