The Mules Baseball team took on Quinalt at home in a double header on Friday and won both games.
The Mules easily won the first game 13-2 with Gunnar Blix at the mound for all five innings. He struck out 12 and allowed two runs.
On offense, Travis Wegdahl went 1-2, hitting a double and bringing in two runs. Blix was 1-3 with a double and two RBIs. Zach Brown went 2-2 and Seth Doumit hit a single and brought in two runs with a sacrifice. Both Cody Terpsma and Chuck Barton were 1-3 at bat and each had an RBI.
In the second game, the Mules won 3-2. Brown was the starting pitcher, Terpsma pitched three innings and Mackey got the save.
Offensively Mackey had an RBI and Terpsma went 1-2 with an RBI.
The Mules host Pe Ell today (Thursday) at home. The double header begins at 3 p.m.
