Rodgers Cook, age 94, passed away peacefully in his home in Vancouver, Washington.
Rod was a long term resident on East Sunny Sands, Puget Island in the 1970's and 1980's.
Rod enjoyed fishing on the beach; splitting shakes for his roof; and spending time with his friends from Cathlamet and Puget Island.
Preceding Rod in death was his first wife, Ann, and his dear friends R.O. and Nina Watson; John and Ivy Jaspers; Marge and Bob Burns; Lily and Svery Pederson, and so many more.
Rod is survived by his wife, Eileen and his two daughters, Carrie Perri and Lynn Volz.
A celebration of life will be held on April 25th, 3 pm at the Fairway Village Clubhouse in Vancouver, Wa. Donations can be made to Hospice Southwest, P.O.Box 1600, Vancouver, Wa. 98668.
