Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
WSU Wahkiakum County Extension will put on a Lambing Management School on April 25 and April 26, the organization announced this week.
Participants will learn to:
-- assist ewes with dystocia;
--care for newborn lambs;
--manage internal parasites, and
-- provide general care and management of a farm flock.
This is a prime hands-on learning experience, with guidance from Dr. Scot Lubers, Dr. Susan Kerr, farmer Patrick McKay-Beach, and WSU volunteers.
