Brian K. Brockway

Brian K. Brockway, 47, of Folsom, Calif. died February 11, 2014, in Sacramento, Calif. He was born April 22, 1966, the son of Merle and Joanne Brockway. He attended schools in Cathlamet and graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1985.

Brian became an independent landscaper. He was known to be gracious and helpful to others, and he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports, playing cards and his family. He married Julie Benson of Folsom. They were later divorced.

In addition to his parents, survivors include two daughters, Lauren (Marcus) Adams of Lodson, S.C., and Madison Brockway, Folsom; three sisters, Sheila Brockway, Rainier, Wash., Janine (Mark) Helms, Cathlamet, and Beverlee Brockway of Yakima.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Levina Cook and Lloyd and Elsie Brockway; and a brother, Philip Brockway.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at the J. A. Wendt Elementary School. Dahl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
