Making a haul

After several attempts to get a local landowner to comply with a new county ordinance that does not allow vehicles near bridge abutments, the Wahkiakum County Sheriff’s Office decided to act last Thursday and brought a tow truck to Crooked Creek Bridge on Altoona/Pillar Rock Road to remove a motor home, two vehicles and a camper that were sitting too close to the road and the bridge.
