Gean E. Deege, 71, passed away, February 9, 2014, peacefully surrounded by family at home.
Gean was born in McCoole, Maryland, August 10, 1942. In her teens she moved to California where she met her husband, of 49 years, Walter Deege. They lived in Thousand Oaks, California before moving to Rosburg, Washington where they settled in for the last 28 years.
She was a wonderful mother to her children and she was an awesome grandmother to her six grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Walter Deege, daughter Teresa Cooley, son Christopher Deege (Renee), grandchildren: Nicolle, Kelson, Cody, Briony, Jayson, and Conall. Sisters: Linda, Bernie Lou, and Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Donald Deege.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Naselle Lutheran Church, 308 Knappton Road, Naselle, WA with reception to follow, and graveside service at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Old Mill Crk Road, Longview, WA.
