WSU to offer leadership academy

Do you aspire to a higher leadership potential, but recognize gaps in your skill?

WSU Leadership Academy is a community leadership program designed to help you engage and inspire others. Topics include influencing public policy, media relations, strategic planning, economic development, meeting facilitation, conflict management, and team building. Classes will be held on the second and fourth Monday night from 6-9 p.m.

Starting on February 18 and ending on June 23, the classes will be held at the Cowlitz County Training Center, 1942 First Avenue in Longview. Class registration is due by February 14 and is limited to 30 people. The cost is $250 for the program. For more information or to register, contact Gary Fredricks at 577-3014 Ext 3 or garyf@wsu.edu.
