Shane Souvenir and Austin Good led the Mules past a sluggish start to a much needed league victory last Friday night when they edged the struggling Cardinals 49-42 at Winlock. The duo combined for 34 points (19 and 15, respectively) as the win pushed the Mules to 8-5 overall (4-5 in league play) and dropped Winlock to a league-worst 0-9 (1-12 overall). Brandon Budd added seven points, Travis Wegdahl netted six, and Seth Doumit scored two points. The Mules hosted Napavine Wednesday night and hit the road this weekend to visit Pe Ell on Friday and Morton-White Pass on Saturday.
