The Adna Pirates came to town last Wednesday and gained an early lead against the Lady Mules. Sluggish and shooting 24 percent from two point range, the Lady Mules were unable to catch up and Adna won 55-46.
Tori Wegdahl led all scorers and had a double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds as well as two assists and three steals. Kaylee Bryant also had a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, plus two steals. Baylee Olsen, fighting illness, scored 10 and brought down five rebounds, had one assist, two steals and three blocks. Sam Boyce added eight points, one rebound, eight assists and three steals. Jessica Thomas scored two points and had four rebounds and Maya Stanley had one point, two rebounds, one assist and one steal. The team shot 46 percent from the line.
The following day, the Lady Mules faced Winlock and came away with an easy win, beating the Cardinals 50-36.
Wegdahl had another double, scoring 12 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. She had four assists and two steals. Boyce scored 12 points as well, with two rebounds, four assists and one steal. Olsen added 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocks. Bryant scored four and had nine rebounds and two blocks. Thomas also had four points with three rebounds and one block. Stanley scored three, pulled down four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. Peyton Souvenir scored two points with three boards and Tyra Elliott added two points. Marissa Longtain had one rebound.
