Birding opportunities announced

The Willapa Hills Audubon Society will conduct a bird watching trip on Saturday, January 18. This trip includes stops at Willow Grove, Longview sewage ponds, and Trojan Park and Prescott Road in Rainier, and will last from 8 a.m. until noon.

Reservations are required as the number of participants will be limited. Call 360-575-9238 or email John Green at jgreen2317@aol.com to make reservations.

The group will also hold Saturday lake walks at Lake Sacajawea on February 8 and March 8.

There will also be walks held on February 15 at Nisqually NWR and March 15 at Woodland Bottoms.
