Father-daughter dance to be held January 18

The Freshman class of Wahkiakum High School wanted to create a fundraiser for their class as well as create something special for the community. Their idea was to hold a Father Daughter Dance and Dessert.

The event is open to K-5th graders, and they hope in the future, to add the rest of the school.

The dance will be held January 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the J.A. Wendt Multi-purpose room. Cost includes the dessert, drinks, and a photo with a beautiful back drop for the father and daughter. The cost of the tickets is $20 and $5 for an additional family member.

Tickets must be purchased at J.A. Wendt Grade School office. This will insure that enough dessert and drinks will be available for all.

“We encourage you to have a wonderful time with your daughter, granddaughter or a little someone you love and loves you too,” said Cindy Fudge, GEAR UP Coordinator.
