New teller joins Bank of the Pacific

There’s a new face at the Cathlamet branch of Bank of the Pacific. Erin Walters joined the branch as a teller in mid-October after moving from Lakeview, Ore., a rural town located in SE Oregon near the borders of California and Nevada. After meeting Cathlamet resident Billy Peek, who happened to be working on a pipeline in her home town, Erin decided to follow her heart and move to Wahkiakum to start a new life with her 2 ½ year old daughter Jenyka. Residing on Puget Island, Erin has quickly adjusted to living on the Columbia River and near the ocean, having tried her hand at clamming in Long Beach. Coming from a small town herself, Erin loves her new job and is excited to meet new people in the community. Photo and text by Sarah Lawrence.
