Lions Club honors local students

The Wahkiakum Lions club honors an outstanding senior student each month through the school year. These students are chosen for their scholastic ability, improvement, leadership and service to the community. Maya Stanley was chosen as the September Student of The Month. She is the daughter of Brian and Juanita Stanley. Maya was presented a certificate and check honoring her for her achievement.

The Lions October Student of The Month was Jem Dyer. Jem was introduced to Lions members and guests at the Lions Club meeting held Monday evening. She is the daughter of Bill and Laura Dyer.
