Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
Redmen Hall would like to announce its final exhibit of 2013 showing the paintings of the well known artist Mike Swift.
Currently he lives in Cathlamet, but has come from the busy world of Hollywood. He is a prolific storyboard artist for the film industry working with films like "View From the Top," "Red Line," "Stuart Little," "Taxi" and many others including advertising work for Nike, Microsoft, and Intel.
He also paints some amazing portraits - of people, cars, planes, boats, and landscapes. He has a fine sense of texture and color that is reflected in the portraits that will be exhibited at Redmen Hall.
This exhibit will open on Saturday, October 26, and will run through Thanksgiving weekend with selected paintings showing in their Holiday Open House through December 22.
There will be a reception for Swift on October 26 from 2-4 p.m., with food, coffee, and hot apple cider.
Redmen Hall is located at 1394 SR 4 in Skamokawa and is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. They may be reached at 360-795-3007.
