Quilt show set for October 4-5

Quilts for all Seasons, a quilt show presented by the Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild, will be held October 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Youth and Family Link Building, 907 Douglas Avenue, Longview.

The featured quilter will be Jane Reed, who made her first quilt at age 14 on her grandmother’s treadle sewing machine. Her favorite method of quilting is paper piecing with freezer paper.

The show will feature demonstrations, door prizes, a raffle quilt, vendors, a country store and more. There will be a $5 admission charge.
