Engagement announced

Gary and Pam Emery, of Cathlamet, announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Emery, of Portland to Rigel Wise, also of Portland. He is the son of Donna Popi and Rick Jones of Vancouver and Allan and Marie Wise of Kalama. The couple will be married July 12, 2014, in Astoria. The bride-to-be graduated from Kelso High School in 2000 and received a B.A. from Western Washington University in 2005 and her Master’s in writing from Portland State University in 2009. She works for a local media research company in Portland. The future groom graduated from Kelso High School in 2001 and received his B.A. from the University of Washington and his doctorate in chiropractic from the University of Western States. He now works at a clinic in Portland.
