Friends of Extension and Wahkiakum 4-H present the fifth annual Columbia River Country Days on October 4 and 5.
Featured this year are events at the Two Island Farm Market on Friday beginning at 3 p.m. Activities planned at the market include a Pie Social to benefit 4-H, a Punkin’ Chunkin’ sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and plenty of fresh local-grown produce for participants to purchase.
Also on Friday, the Tsuga Gallery will host an Artoberfest from 5-8 p.m. New to the event schedule, members will feature artwork with an autumn theme and refreshments will be provided.
Saturday includes a 4-H Open House at the Wahkiakum Fairgrounds located in Skamokawa and the Lamplit Dinner on the Grays River Covered Bridge.
Tickets are available for the Lamplit Dinner for $35 or $25 for our Grand Americans (those 72 and older) and veterans at Bank of Pacific branches in Cathlamet and Naselle, Rosburg Store and the WSU Wahkiakum County Extension office at 25 River Street in Cathlamet.
