August 19 — 10:54 a.m. A caller reported suspicious activity at a neighbor’s residence. A deputy checked out the situation and determined that all was well. 3:21 p.m. A caller reported that someone had been siphoning gasoline out of a tank, causing damage to a vehicle. A deputy investigated. 5:20 p.m. A caller reported a possible theft in progress. A deputy made contact with the subjects involved.
August 20— 7:25 a.m. A caller reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor’s barking dogs. An officer made contact and found that the dogs’ owners plan to add more insulation to the dogs’ kennel to address the issue. 11:54 a.m. A caller reported receiving harassing text messages. An officer investigated. 1:42 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man experiencing an allergic reaction. 10:21 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a 66-year-old man who had injured his head in a fall.
August 21— 10:24 a.m. A caller reported seeing a syringe by a car. A deputy found the item. 1:22 p.m. A caller reported that someone had vandalized mailboxes in their neighborhood. 2:59 p.m. District 4 firefighters responded for a lift assist of a person with mobility difficulty. 5:29 p.m. A caller reported that someone had cut two RV power cords. 6:20 p.m. A caller reported being harassed. 7:59 p.m. A caller reported a dispute with a family member. A deputy was advised.
August 22— 12:11 a.m. A caller reported an unattended bonfire. District 4 firefighters responded and extinguished the fire. 2:46 a.m. A caller reported that pedestrians walking along SR4 near a gas station were not visible to cars. State patrol was notified. 10:40 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman with heart trouble. 4:27 p.m. A caller reported a burglary, including the theft of a vehicle and chainsaws. 4:39 p.m. A caller reported that a vehicle was driving dangerously. An officer made contact. 6:45 p.m. A Maki Road resident reported a power outage. 7:18 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 78-year-old woman. Cathlamet firefighters responded to set up a landing zone for LifeFlight, but it was cancelled because of weather conditions. The woman was transported to an area hospital.
August 23— 1:36 p.m. A caller reported fraudulent activity. A deputy investigated.
August 24— 12:38 a.m. One person was arrested after a traffic stop along SR4 at Milepost 29.5. 7:48 a.m. A Rosedale resident reported that someone had spray painted her garage door the previous night. A deputy investigated. 8:51 a.m. A caller reported a theft. A deputy investigated. 9:09 a.m. A caller reported that a flower pot worth $600 had been tipped over and broken. 9:15 a.m. A caller reported that a Rosedale business had been spray painted the previous night. 11:30 a.m. A caller reported that her golden retriever was missing. 1:00 p.m. A business reported that a subject had pumped gas and then driven off. Deputies were notified. 2:14 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 20-year-old man with a cut on his leg. 2:26 p.m. Deputies took a man into custody on an outstanding warrant. 3:09 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman with an unknown medical complaint. 4:03 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a man who had sustained road rash. 5:10 p.m. A caller reported a possibly stripped and abandoned boat on White’s Island. 5:20 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to Wahkiakum High School to aid a man with a possible concussion. 5:39 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a man with a possible concussion. 5:57 p.m. A caller reported that people were driving ATVs down a road at an unsafe speed. 6:45 p.m. A caller reported that a person had sustained minor injuries in an ATV accident, but did not require an ambulance. 8:09 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 71-year-old woman who had fallen.
August 25— 11:09 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a man with a hand injury. 10:50 a.m. A caller reported that a neighbor’s dogs were barking and that a horse was running loose. 11:07 a.m. A caller reported seeing an open door at a building storing a large amount of alcohol for a later event. A keyholder was notified. 11:43 a.m. One person was taken into custody related to a theft the previous day. 2:55 p.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance. An officer investigated. 5:34 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a teen who had sustained abdominal abrasions. 5:40 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a person staying in the area overnight. 7:06 p.m. A caller reported being harassed. 8:01 p.m. A caller reported that four dogs were running loose in a residential area. A deputy was advised. 8:15 p.m. A caller reported that a neighbor would not return a dog that had been found running loose. The caller called back later to say that arrangements had been made for the animal’s return. 9:08 p.m. A caller reported a burglary. 10:50 p.m. A caller reported that dogs were barking and a horse was running loose at the home of a neighbor who was out of town.
August 26—9:26 a.m. A caller reported a mental health emergency. A mental health professional responded. 10:08 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a neighbor who hadn’t been seen in several days. An officer made contact and found that the man was on vacation.
