Notice is hereby given that Douglas Olsen, Who is owner/lessee of the below described property has filed an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development/Conditional Use/Variance Permit for the development of locating a 24' by 60' floating home; walkway; ramp; and 8' by 40' dock. The project is located at 195 West Birnie Slough Road, Cathlamet, WA 98612; SW ¼ of Section 14, T8N, R6W, W.M., in Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington. Said development is proposed to be within Birnie Slough and/or the associated wetlands. Any person desiring to express his or her views or wish to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify Wahkiakum County Building and Planning in writing of his or her interest within 30 days of the final date of publication of this notice which is August 15, 2013.Written comments must be received by September 13, 2013. A Determination of Non-Significance has been issued pursuant to WAC 197-11-340, any comments should be directed to the Wahkiakum County Building and Planning Department, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612, Within 14 days.

Written comments on the SEPA DNS must be submitted by August 19, 2013.
