The Appelo Archives Center, along with the Naselle Timberland Library will present “The 1930s” Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Naselle Timberland Library.
August 10 “The Crash of 1929” will be shown, September 14 will be “Surviving the Dust Bowl,” and on September 28 they will show “The Civilian Conservation Corps.”
These films are suitable for teens and adults and will feature a discussion period following the films.
The Archive Center, located at 1056 SR 4 in Naselle, is exhibiting “Hope in Hard Times: Washington During the Great Depression” now through October 5.
