Readers of all ages will explore all things underground this August as the Cathlamet Public Library presents “Dig into Reading” during their summer library reading program. Activities will include the programs: Dirt Movers (construction equipment and animals that live underground), In The Garden (root vegetables, garden gnomes), Digging For Treasure (pirates) and Dig Into The Past (Ancient Egypt and dinosaurs).
The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to young people preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, a reading club and more. Program dates and times are Wednesdays in August from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Registration for Dig Into Reading begins on today (Thursday).
