Chili cook-off set for August 31

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce will bring the 10th Annual Labor Day Buzzards Breath Chili Cook-off to the Elochoman Marina August 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cooking teams are wanted for either Home-style Chili or Tolbert Sanctioned Championship Competition “Texas Red Chili.”

No fee will be charged for Home Style Chili, and two gallons must be cooked. There will be a $15 fee for Tolbert Championship Chili.

There will be live music, prizes, games, a unique trophy, beer garden and raffles.
