What's happening at the Fair?

Wow what a great turn out for the clean up day at the fairgrounds. I had around 35 volunteers and four fair board members. I would like to thank each and every one of them for their time. Without volunteers our fair would not be successful. So once again thank you very much. We will be having another clean up day soon. Watch the column for the date or if you would like to swing by call the office and schedule a time. (360-795-3480).

The fair board has three young ladies running for Fair Royalty: Cheyenne Barton from Puget Island, Mya Kirzy from Cathlamet and Aaliyah Montgomery from Skamokawa. They will be selling Fair Passes, Fair Raffle Tickets, and having their own events. So get your passes and raffle tickets.

This week Fair Royalty Events:

Cheyenne Barton: Booth at Bald Eagles Day (selling snow cones.) She will also be at the Farmers Market on the Island.

Aaliyah Montgomery: July 18-19 Rummage Sale at 162 West Valley Rd., Skamokawa, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 23-Crazy Bingo at the Fairgrounds at 6 p.m.

All three will be at Bald Eagles Day with passes and raffle tickets. They will also be at Vista Park on July 27.

The Fair Premium Book should be out next week. Check the book out for entry deadlines.

I still need a few Superintendents. Please call the office if you would like to volunteer your time. (360-795-3480). I am having a Superintendents meeting on July 24 at 6 p.m. at the Fairgrounds and we will have supply boxes ready. If there is anything you need, please call the office.
