Patrick S. DeHart AKA Renee Lynn Brostad

Renee Lynn Brostad died at home in Oak Harbor on July 10, 2013. She was born as Patrick Shane DeHart on June 13, 1977 in Fresno, Calif., to Alex and Linda DeHart.

Patrick graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1996. He then served eight years in the U.S. Navy.

Renee enjoyed drawing, making things from Legos and building and flying remote control airplanes.

She is survived by her mother, Linda DeHart in Skamokawa, her sister, Angelina Batchor of Longview; and longtime spouse Eric Brostad and son Ty Brostad of Oak Harbor.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 21 at noon at the home of Gretchen Mahitka, 163 Ingalls Rd., Skamokawa. All family and friends are invited to attend the potluck celebration.
