Bald Eagle Days Parade Marshal chosen

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce has announced that Stephanie Olsen, of Cathlamet, has been chosen as the 2013 Grand Marshal for the 32nd annual Bald Eagle Days Parade.

Stephanie began her work in the funeral home industry in 1973. She moved to Cathlamet a year later and has been working at the Dowling Funeral Home for 39 years. Along with working for the Dowling Funeral Home she also works for the Steele Funeral Home of Longview and also the Dahl McVicker Funeral Home in Kelso.

Stephanie and her husband, Doug Olsen, raised their family in Cathlamet and as a family were very involved with the community. Stephanie has been Charter President of the Kiwanis Club, chaired the Chamber of Commerce Bald Eagle Days BBQ and Christmas Tree Lighting, and Early Edition Rotary Club. She is currently a member of United Church of Christ and Secretary Treasurer of Greenwood Cemetery.
