RESOLUTION NO. 89-13

A RESOLUTION CLOSING KANDOLL ROAD

FROM MILEPOST 0.5 TO MILEPOST 1.3

WHEREAS, based upon the report and recommendations of the County Engineer, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that work on and around Kandoll Road will obstruct Kandoll Road from milepost 0.5 to milepost 1.3 from July 15, 2013 until September 30, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Section 47.48.010 of the Revised Code of Washington grants authority to the Board of County Commissioners to restrict travel on county roads when conditions demand it;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, as follows:

Section 1: Kandoll Road between milepost 0.5 and milepost 1.3 shall be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. on July 15, 2013 until 5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2013.

Section 2: The County Engineer is directed to post signs indicating the road closure established in Section 1 of this Resolution.

Section 3: Upon posting of signs and publication of a Public Notice in the Wahkiakum County Eagle any person violating the terms of this Resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
