Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
I want to extend a huge thank-you to Jean Beerbower, Lore Twiet and Courtney Zurick for running the Book/Garage Sale this past weekend. The leftover sale items will be donated to the Mule Wrestling team for their sale this weekend.
The Fair Board is still looking for young ladies and gentlemen to run for Fair Royalty. The program has changed format. The winner will now be chosen on the amount of money they earn. The contestants will earn 20 percent commission on all profits they earn. So if you want to earn a little spare cash this summer and have fun, give me a call at the fair office (795-3480).
The raffle grand prize has been decided on. It will be an Apple iPad Tablet. There will also be secondary prizes, so don't forget to get your tickets. They will be out soon.
I still need Superintendents for the Beef, Adult Floral, Adult Arts & Crafts, Adult Gardening departments, so if you would like to volunteer, please let me know.
We have set new vendor prices. I will be contacting last year’s vendors this week, so if you don't hear from me please call the office and leave a message.
