Annual Bow-Tie Bash to be held July 6 in Longview

On Saturday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Longview on Commerce Avenue a car show is open to all American made and/or American powered vehicles. The event is open and free to the public. In addition to a beautiful display of cars and trucks, there will be raffle drawings occurring throughout the day. Awards will be handed out at 3 p.m. that include sponsor’s choice, and Best of Show.

Pre-registration is $15 per car until June 22. After June 22 the registration fee is $20 per vehicle.

In addition to participating in the Bow-Tie Bash car show, Corvettes may participate in the Northwest Association of Corvettes Clubs’ “Shine and Show” competitive judging competition. For those interested, NWACC membership/affiliation is not required to partake.

NWACC Judging pre-registration is $30 per vehicle, until June 22. Registration after June 22 or day of show is $35 per vehicle.

The monies raised from registration and raffle tickets is donated to local charities. Recent recipiemts include The Salvation Army, Relay for Life, School Gardens, Progress Center, Community Home Health & Hospice, Western Washington Lions Club and the Emergency Support Shelter.

The organization is asking all participants and/or spectators to donate two cans of non-perishable food which can be donated to the Help Warehouse of Cowlitz County. Donation boxes will be located at the registration table on Commerce and Broadway.
