Farmers, millers, bakers, maltsters, distillers, and brewers are invited to tour Washington State University’s research fields and to discuss the production of small grains such as wheat, oats, rye and barley in Western Washington for food, feed, and malt.
Small Grains Field Day will occur June 27 from 3-6 p.m. in Mount Vernon. It is free and open to the public, but participants are asked to dress for the weather conditions. For directions, visit http://www.mountvernon.wsu.edu or call 360-848-6120.
