Robert "Bob" Engle aka "Bowhunter Bob"

Bob Engle peacefully passed away May 10, 2013 with his daughter by his side. He was born in Seattle, WA Feb. 5, 1944 and was raised in Umatilla, OR. He graduated from Umatilla High School in 1962. He moved to Washougal, WA in 1964. In 1976 he bought a house in Camas, WA and lived there until he retired after 33 years from the Camas Papermill in 2000. He then moved to Skamokawa, WA. and lived there for 13 years.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, boxing, nascar, turkey buzzards, his dogs, family. He has left behind many friends who he also considered his family. He left a big mark on the people who knew him and he will be very missed.

He is survived by his brother Irv Engle and sister Darlene Engle; daughter Ebby Blouin (Engle) of Skamokawa, WA; son Don Engle of Kennewick, WA; granddaughter Tarryn Blouin, great-granddaughters Jocelynn and Savannah Ellis; grandson Justin Blouin, great-grandson Waylon Blouin; and granddaughter Ashlee Blouin.

He is preceded in death by his father Irvin Engle and mother Marjorie Engle.

His "Last Party," as he called it, will be June 15, 2013 at Stornetta's Ranch 860 E Valley Road, Skamokawa, WA. Please feel free to bring a tent, sleeping bag, camper to spend the night. But mostly, please bring all your favorite memories.
