CALL FOR BIDS

FERRY "WAHKIAKUM" ENGINE REBUILD

WAHKIAKUM COUNTY, WASHINGTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Wahkiakum County, Washington, at the Department of Public Works Office, 3rd Floor, Wahkiakum County Courthouse, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, Washington 98612, until 10:00 A.M. local time the 11th day of June 2013. At such time sealed bids will be opened and publicly read in the Commissioner Meeting room for the rebuild of one (1) N855M Cummins Diesel engine for the Ferry "Wahkiakum."

The specifications for the engine rebuild are as follows:

· Successful bidder must give Wahkiakum County

a minimum guarantee of (1) one year parts and (6)

six months labor on the rebuilt engine after instal-

lation.

· Engine repairs must be made by a Cummins

N.O.W. certified mechanic.

· All parts replaced must be genuine Cummins

Parts.

· Rebuilt engine must be dynamometer tested for a

minimum of 6 hours, to verify rebuild is within

performance parameters, prior to delivery.

· Engine re-built completion date is September 16,

2013.

Bidders are advised to carefully review the county's specifications. Complete specifications can be obtained by contacting the Wahkiakum County Public Works Department, PO Box 97, Cathlamet, Washington 98612, phone number (360) 795-3301.

Wahkiakum County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities in the bidding and to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder.
