Second Annual Plant, Bake, Book Sale & Soup Luncheon

This Saturday, May 18 marks the second annual Plant, Bake, Book Sale and Luncheon at the Grays River Valley Center located at Johnson Park. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to finish at 4 p.m. This year the luncheon will feature a small art show with two local artists on display. The first artist is a young man aged 16 while his counterpart is an elderly woman aged 81. For more information please call 360-465-2775.

Open Mic Night at the Oasis

Calling all musicians, comics and entertainers! This Saturday, May 18 starting at 8 p.m., the Oasis Tavern in Skamokawa will be hosting an Open Mic Night. Everyone is welcome to attend and perform. For more information call 795-8672.

Duck Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Get ready to party as June 1 is the one year anniversary of the Duck Inn in Skamokawa. All weekend long the Duck will be celebrating with food and drink specials. Family Health Center Says Goodbye to Dr. Steves

Next month marks the departure of Dr. Steves from the Wahkiakum Family Health Center. He is moving back to Pennsylvania to be closer to his family and will finish at the Family Health Center on June 6. The current health provider Kathryn Harshman, ARNP and a medical provider from Family Health Center's Longview clinic will continue to treat patients until a permanent replacement can be found.
