Next time you walk into a Bank of the Pacific branch you may notice some new faces as the head office has decided to make some staff changes.

After working alongside Branch Manager Penny Paulsen for over 20 years, Lori Bergseng is moving to the Astoria Branch to become the operations manager. Penny says, “It is like Lori and I are getting a divorce, and I am getting the kids! Lori has been a wonderful asset to the bank and I will really miss her. We all wish her the very best with this new opportunity.”

Bergseng’s last day at the Cathlamet branch will be May 15 with a party scheduled for the 14th to celebrate her promotion. The public is invited to attend and congratulate her on her new adventure.

Kim Havens will be the new operations manager for the Cathlamet Branch, and Sam Wilson will be returning as the new accounts representative. Sierra Shelton will soon be leaving for maternity leave, while Nicci Bergseng will remain as the head teller and “Jack of all trades,” handling all other branch functions.

Paulsen has also been promoted and is now the branch manager for both Cathlamet and Naselle.
