Elder Options offers continuing ed programs

Care Careers Academy, a division of Elder Options, is offering new Continuing Education courses for CNAs, HCAs, and caregivers who are looking for credits to keep their certification current.

Courses for May include: “Calming the Cognitive Impaired” on May 7 at 5 p.m., “Navigating through Challenging Behaviors” on May 11 at 9 a.m., “The Mystery of Sleep/Sundowner’s Syndrome” on May 11 at 12:30 p.m., “Calming the Cognitive Impaired” on May 11 at 2:45 p.m., and “Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) Strategies for Surviving and Thriving” on May 20 at 11 a.m.

In June, Care Careers Academy will be offering “The Mystery of Sleep/Sundowner’s Syndrome” on June 4 at 2 p.m., “The Immune System of the Elderly and Autoimmune Disorders” on June 12 at 9 a.m., and “Navigating Through Challenging Behaviors” on June 20 at 5 p.m.
