Network offers funding opportunity for local teens

Wahkiakum Community Network has grant money available to fund opportunities for local teens with disabilities to participate in the community and become better prepared for future employment.

The funding is intended to cover one-time costs for youth to obtain formal training in marketing and/or financial management or to obtain licenses, certifications, application fees or other one-time costs to help youth be better prepared for future employment.

Total funds available are $5500 and are to be expended no later than August 30, 2013.
