CALL FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. One of Wahkiakum County, Washington, at their office, P.O. Box 248, 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington, until 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time through the mail or by express carrier or hand delivered to the designated location on Friday, May 17, 2013, and thereafter shall be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of the following:

One (1) new, current year model 37' or 38' aerial

device mounted on a cab and chassis.

Bidders are advised to carefully review the District's specifications and contract form. Complete specifications and contract form may be obtained by contacting the office of the Manger of the District, P.O. Box 248, 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington 98612, telephone: (360) 795-3266.

Each Bidder must submit his/her/its proposal in writing. The proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid made payable to Public Utility District No. One of Wahkiakum County.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding and to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder. All bids submitted shall include date of delivery. Material differences in time of delivery may be considered by the District in determining the lowest and best bid.
