Military appreciation day at spring fair on April 19

All active, reserve, and retired military and National Guard personnel and their dependents, plus disabled veterans with valid military ID, are eligible for free gate admission at any Puyallup Spring Fair gate on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This year’s Spring Fair offers many exhibits, including Aussie Kingdom, a show featuring marsupials (animals with pouches), The Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, and Auto Alley, where dragsters, funny cars and more will be shown. Monster Truck Rides are also available on Friday from 2-6 p.m. and cost $7.

For non-veterans, adult gate tickets cost $10, and tickets for students 6-18 years cost $7. Children five years and under are free. Parking is free. Visit http://www.thefair.com for updated activities and times.
