There is still time to register for AARP’s Driver Safety Program sponsored by Wahkiakum County Health & Human Services on April 8 and 9.
This is an 8 hour program and classes will be held at 42 Elochoman Valley Rd, the Health and Human Services Building and will run from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. each day. People of any age are welcome to attend. Each participant will need to bring his/her driver’s license.
Advance registration is required. Call Wahkiakum Health and Human Services at 795-8630 or 1-800-635-5989 for Westend residents. Cost is $12 to cover class materials for AARP members (must bring membership numbers); non members $14. Checks should be made out to AARP and mailed to Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services, 42 Elochoman Valley Road, Cathlamet, WA 98612.
