ELECTION APRIL 23, 2013

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, a special election will be held in the above named School district for the submission to the qualified electors of said School district of the following proposition:

PROPOSITION NO. 1

NASELLE-GRAYS RIVER VALLEY SCHOOL

DISTRICT NO. 155

GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS - $8,100,000

The Board of Directors of Naselle-Grays River Valley School District No. 155 adopted Resolution No. 121304 concerning this proposition for bonds. This proposition would authorize the District to undertake the modernization and upgrade of school facilities, including the vocational/music grandstands building and physical education/gymnasium addition, to issue $8,100,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum of 20 years, and to levy excess property taxes annually to repay the bonds, as provided in Resolution No. 121304.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 29A.08.140, accepted no later than 29 days before an election by mail, in person or online all transfers within Wahkiakum County, all transfers from another county and new registrants to the state of Washington by January 14, 2013.

 WITH THE EXCEPTION that, pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 29A.08.145, voter registration is possible during the period between March 25, 2013 to April 15, 2013; but persons doing so must register in person at the County Auditor's office during regular hours of business, must not be currently registered to vote in the State of Washington, and will be allowed to vote an absentee ballot there at.

 VOTING AIDS TO ASSIST elderly and disabled persons will be available the 22nd day of March through Election Day, the 23rd day of April, at the Wahkiakum County Auditor's Office, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet WA.
