The Diner on Main Now Open for Business

This past Saturday marked the soft opening of the new Diner on Main Street Restaurant. Opened by John and Sharon Buennagel, who also own and manage Sharon’s Pizza & More. The new 50’s inspired diner is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Diner also includes a lounge which is open daily from 11 a.m. An official ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Monday at 3 p.m.

Tall Tree Café Coffeehouse open on Sundays

Starting this month the Tall Tree Café Coffeehouse will be open Sundays 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Located on the corner of Main Street at number 98 in Cathlamet, the Tall Tree Café Coffeehouse offers a wide range of specialty beverages and food items. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Oasis Open Mic Night this Friday

This Friday marks the first “Open Mic Night” at the Oasis Tavern in Skamokawa. If you’re aged 21 and older and are interested in playing, you can sign up via the Oasis calendar, or by calling 795-8672 after 2 p.m.

Redmen Hall Annual Antique Sale Extended

The Friends of Skamokawa volunteers have extended their annual Antique Sale at Redmen Hall through March 24. Starting tomorrow, the hall will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday for three weeks. For more information call 795-3007.

Cribbage Tournaments Moved to Fridays

The Oasis Tavern weekly cribbage tournaments have been moved to Fridays in an effort to accommodate all interested in attending. The next game is scheduled for March 15 at 6 p.m. For more information, contact the Oasis Tavern at 795-8672.
