Open Mic Night at The Oasis

 Next month marks the beginning of the new “Open Mic Nights” at the Oasis Tavern in Skamokawa. The first night is scheduled for Sunday, March 3rd and is open to anyone aged 21 and older. If you’re interested in playing, you can sign up via the Oasis calendar, or by calling 795-8672 after 2 p.m.

Tsuga Sponsors Watercolor Workshop

 Whether you’re a beginner or a master you won’t want to miss the Tsuga Gallery water color workshop on April 6th. Hosted by award winning artist Carol Boudreau, this one day workshop is your chance to learn from one of the greats. The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and is limited to 10 people. Annual Fisher Poets Gathering

 This weekend marks the annual Fisher Poets Gathering in Astoria sponsored by KMUN 91.9 FM. Scheduled for this Friday, February 22nd through to Sunday the 24th, come and enjoy local artists, poets and musicians as they celebrate the commercial fishing industry. Redmen Hall Annual Antique Sale

 Next week kicks off the annual Antique Sale at Redmen Hall in Skamokawa. Starting next Thursday, February 28th and running through to Sunday, March 3rd this is your chance to purchase some of the great treasures of Wahkiakum. Weekly Cribbage Tournament Dates Changing
