December 4-- 1:01 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a woman possibly having a heart attack. 2:35 p.m. A caller reported that a pothole on the Puget Island bridge had caused his car to get a flat tire. The Department of Transportation (DOT) was notified. 6:10 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 76-year-old male who had fallen. 11:13 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 92-year-old female who had fallen.
December 5—12:28 a.m. A caller reported that a woman was removing items from the garage of a foreclosed home. A deputy responded and made an arrest. 3:17 p.m. A caller reported the theft of an estimated $2500 worth of copper wire. 3:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance transported a patient from Wahkiakum Family Health Center to the hospital. 9:56 p.m. A caller reported smelling a large amount of propane outside their home. The District #4 Fire Department responded but was unable to located the source of the smell. 11:34 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man with breathing problems.
December 6—1:31 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man with low blood pressure. 1:50 p.m. A caller reported an abandoned dog that looked neglected. The Humane Society took custody of the animal.
December 7—1:04 a.m. A caller reported suspicious activity and requested contact with a deputy. 5:57 a.m. The Grays River Hatchery reported a water outage. The Wahkiakum PUD water crew responded. 9:08 a.m. The Grays River ambulance was dispatched to aid someone who was ill. 11:39 a.m. A caller reported being harassed. 12:59 a.m. A caller reported that elk hunters had attempted to trespass on her property. A deputy was advised. 11:10 p.m. A caller reported that she was concerned about her elderly mother. Dispatch contacted the elderly woman’s residence and determined that she was ill and in need of assistance.
December 8—3:31 p.m. A caller reported that a three-foot diameter concrete chunk had broken off the roadway of the Puget Island bridge. DOT responded. 10:05 p.m. A caller reported debris in the middle of a road. Additionally, a stop sign had been knocked over and the sign portion stolen. A deputy and the county road crew responded. 10:15 p.m. A caller reported that the power wire was down between their house and a utility pole. A PUD crew responded.
December 9— 2:26 a.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance. A suspect left the scene and was later arrested. 8:58 a.m. A caller reported a deer had been injured by a fence and requested permission to euthanize it. 11:45 a.m. A caller reported that his wife was suicidal. A deputy and a mental health professional responded. 6:56 p.m. A caller reported a loose cow was in the middle of the road. A deputy responded, but was unable to locate the animal.
December 10—6:15 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man with suspected alcohol poisoning. After further investigation, it was determined that he was displaying signs of dementia.
