Neewollah Daze next Wednesday
Goblins, vampires, super heroes, princesses, rock stars are invited to get dressed up and head to Bank of the Pacific for the annual Neewollah Daze celebration at 4 p.m. on October 31. Several categories are judged, from babies to adults and everyone will receive a prize bag, cookies and punch. The event is sponsored by the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce. It's lefse time at Norse Hall
The Sons of Norway will hold their annual Lefse Bake at the Norse hall from November 1-4.
Lefse baking classes will be held on November 1,2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a bake sale on November 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Redmen Hall seeks
artisans for Open House
Skamokawa's Redmen Hall is preparing for their annual Open House beginning Thanksgiving weekend, November 23-24 and 25.
Artisans and crafters are asked to submit their work, including artwork, glasswork, knitted items and decorations, to sell at the event.

Elder Options sets CPR class
A 4-hour class will cover the new American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers as well as adult, child/infant CPR with automatic external defibrillation (AED), one and two person rescue, and adult, child/infant choking.
Cost for the class is $55 with a book and $40 without a book and it will be held on November 16, from noon-4 p.m.
Upon completing the class, students will receive a two-year certification ID card. Class size is limited; call early to reserve a seat, (360) 636-1000 or (800) 608-2388.
