Comic relief; but who gets the last laugh?

To The Eagle:

While my letter is intended for Ms. Petralia (Eagle, Oct 18, 2012) all residents of Wahkiakum County should have an interest in my candidacy for Superior Court Judge. Any speaker should be happy to provide some comic relief to any program. All I can ask is to be invited back to address the voters and I will work to balance my convictions and keep you in stitches. And I feel honored that Ms. Petralia praises me as a comedian and encouraged me to run for county commissioner (by e-mail and phone, February 23, 2012).

While Ms. Petralia’s suggestion is good to find candidates to run for our district court judgeship, what lawyer in Wahkiakum County would be brain dead enough to challenge the incumbent? Find me any lawyer who wants to come to Wahkiakum County and have anything to do with the district court judge or his nephew; the exceptions are court appointed. Regarding my candidacy, I did meet with Mr. Sullivan at the Long Beach forum on October 18 and we hope to meet this week to discuss my issues with our judicial system. Possibly the most egregious issue is the incident of acknowledged perjury, and verify with sworn statements, condoned by the district court judge in his capacity as a lawyer and presented in Mr. Sullivan’s court, dismissed twice by Mr. Sullivan and dismissed as a criminal act by the lawyer’s nephew. I do hope you find me funny, but the last laugh will be on the citizens of Wahkiakum County if we retain our current judicial system.
