Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
Born September 13, 1920 Ruth Fudge went home to be with the Lord, joining her husband Andrew R. Fudge Sr., her oldest son Donald Morgan Fudge and granddaughter Kristi K. Wheeler, in the early morning of Sunday October 21, 2012.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Rett and Dr. John Baumann of Springfield Ore., Myrna and General Denis Brown of Wilmington N.C. She is also survived by her son Martin, and his wife Thelma Fudge of Okanogan and a daughter in-law, Linda Fudge. She has been blessed with 13 grandchildren and their spouses: Teri and Robert Smallwood, Tami and Tom Chestnut, Toni and Dana Wilson, Brian and Cindy Fudge, Mike and Andrea Fudge, Cindy and Jason Luurs, Andrew and Lisa Fudge, Kurt and Jennifer Fudge, Rebekah and Daryl Pfitzer, Dana and Terry Ramsey, Michael Lee and husband Brian McCarthy, and Talitha Lee. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Grandma loved to spend time with her family, and hosting meals in her home. As an active member of the Riverside Lighthouse Chapel Assembly of God, she fed many workmen as the church building project commenced. She also spent many years as the church organist. Grandma’s love for family, hostessing and music were only to be exceeded by her love for the Lord. Her greatest hope is to greet her family as they come into the presence of the Lord.
We miss you Gramma Ruth!
