Bonnie R. Sullivan

Bonnie Rae Sullivan, 81, of Cathlamet passed away September 15, 2012 at home. She was born September 3, 1931 in Marcus, to Dennis and Sue Sullivan. Bonnie graduated from Cleveland High School and later graduated from Washington State University. As a young woman she spent time in the Peace Corps.

During her marriage, she and her husband, Roy Dark, travelled the world. Bonnie worked for Hanford Nuclear Plant department of energy. In 1996 she retired after 25 years. Eight years ago Bonnie moved from Vancouver to the local area to be near her brother Jack. She enjoyed her neighbors and visiting about politics. She was an avid bird watcher. Bonnie was quiet and loved to read and enjoyed watching tennis and golf on T.V. Bonnie loved keeping in touch with her family.

Bonnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Sullivan and Jack Sullivan, and a sister, Lois Wilks.

Bonnie is survived by her sister-in-law Lois Sullivan of Cathlamet, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no service per her request. Memorial Donations can be made to the Wahkiakum Historical Society 65 River St. Cathlamet WA 98612

Dowling Funeral Home of Cathlamet is in charge of arrangements.
