Timothy A. Manning

Timothy A. Manning, M.D., 84, of Beloit, Wis., died September 20, 2012 at his home.

He was born March 15, 1928 in Washburn, Wis. to Dwight and Myrtle (Anderson) Manning. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during WWII.

He graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1953 and started his medical practice in Cathlamet. After 15 years, he moved his family to Beloit to practice. He was a member of the American Medical Association and retired in 1991.

He is survived by his wife Donna; children Sue Gugger of San Diego, Calif., Gay Donahue of Decatur, Ill., Julie Manning of Denver, Colo., Mark Manning of Lindome, Sweden and Jadie Manning of Laguna Beach, Calif; sister Mrs. Ed Puchalski of River Forest Ill., seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Daley Murphy Wisch and Associates of Beloit were in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice, the Salvation Army or Home Companion of Beloit.
