Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
Almost four decades ago a small group of local businessmen in Long Beach came together to create a bank that would focus on the community. The Bank of the Pacific, which has served generations of Wahkiakum County residents, has recently received FDIC approval for their application to open a new branch in Warrenton, Ore. With an anticipated opening set for June 2013, construction will begin this fall.
“I am excited about the opportunities in Warrenton and look forward to serving the needs of both the Warrenton and Astoria communities,” said Bank of the Pacific’s CEO, Dennis Long. “The Bank has a long history of providing quality financial services throughout Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon. Specifically, we’ve enjoyed significant success with our Gearhart branch.”
The new Warrenton branch will be located at 675 SE Marlin Ave., and will offer three inside teller windows, drive-up services, ATM, and full consumer, commercial and mortgage lending. The 3,700 square foot branch will employ about eight people. The Gearhart branch will continue to offer the same financial services to the Gearhart and Seaside communities.
