Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
To The Eagle:
The collaborative teaching program outlined on the front page of last week's Eagle is undoubtedly one of the most spectacularly elegant education enhancement schemes ever to come to light in our backwoodsy little community.
However, we sincerely hope the leaders of this academic exercise will consider a modest modification: rather than lose hundreds of hours of classroom time, and disrupt the morning routine of a like number of families, perhaps the teachers could come in an hour before school once a week and collaborate on their own time and money, as effective management is wont to do in the rest of the known universe.
